MLM Software Capabilities You Need:
Inventory Control, Shipping & Fulfillment
How Does MLM Software Work for Logistics?
When it comes to MLM inventory control, shipping, and fulfillment, logistics can sometimes be a problem within the direct selling industry. The problem presented in most traditional channels is having too many access points where distributors or consultants are located. MLM software bridges the gap between these logistic problems; therefore, in order to maximize your logistics operations, it’s paramount to have effective MLM software for coordination between the processes as well as having your end product reach your customer.
MLM Inventory Control Software
An important aspect of inventory control is having software that understands merchandise configurations. This software allows the SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) and products that you sell to be systematically inventoried by color, size, availability and more.
MLM Shipping Software
MLM shipping software provides multiple shipping options that can streamline your online sales. Whether you have an account with FedEx, DHL, USPS or UPS, you can use it with your MLM software. It keeps track of everything from the point of purchase to the shipping rates, tracking numbers, estimated time of arrival and so much more.
MLM Fulfillment Software
MLM fulfillment software allows business owners to leave the warehouse operations to the warehouse workforce. Fulfillment software handles your orders, packing, and delivering your products both internationally and domestically with accurate tracking information.
Logistics Starts and Ends With Advanced MLM Software
It’s important to keep in mind that logistics is more than just a delivery, logistics is a key component for each stage of your business. You need advanced MLM software that does more than deliver your products to the end-user, you need software that keeps track of the entire process from the beginning to the end.
What really matters, in the end, is having an MLM software program that gets potential customers in contact with your company. If you want to learn more about what MLM software should be doing for you? Please click here to learn more.

MLM Inventory Control
Inventory Control – again, it’s very important as you’re a company launching your own product and you want to be able to manage your inventory, manage the manufacturer of that product, everything around that should be tightly integrated into your system. Even if you’re selling someone else’s product, you still need to keep counts, you need to know what’s in the warehouse, what you can ship, what you can’t ship. There’s a lot to this area. And there are inventory control systems you can buy stand-alone that cost a million dollars. So obviously there’s capabilities out there, so it depends on your needs. If you need that level of inventory control, you need to make sure that that inventory system can interface to your network marketing software system, ok?
Fulfillment and Shipping
Fulfillment and Shipping. I’ll talk about these together because they’re very closely related. Basically, it’s a warehouse management capability so that as these orders come in during the day and they’re processed they need to be able to be shipped out. So if you think about it, depending on who you’re using to actually do your shipping – UPS, FedEx, any of them – those rates and rules need to be able to be put into the system in a configurable manor so that it doesn’t require custom formatting so that you can tailor your business to exactly match whatever you’re using for your mlm shipping software. There’s lots of options. A lot of vendors, software vendors, software systems out there, they only have one or two options that are built in, but then it costs extra to use something else. So make sure you look at those capabilities that come with your base software package so that you don’t have to spend extra money on custom programming unless it’s just something you have to have, ok?
Advanced Capabilities and Growth
These are the basic capabilities – actually I could go on for two hours, but I don’t want to bore you. But these are the basic things you need to look at. If you’ve never run a company that actually sells a physical product, these are, you might want to dig more into inventory control. You might want to dig more into the CRM capabilities of the system. So just keep these in mind as your searching and making your choice.
As we wrap up our discussion today, please remember that the list of capabilities that we discussed so far, these are not comprehensive. These are the base requirements just to get going. And it’s important that you understand, there are lots more advanced capabilities for you to be successful and to able to grow and have the system grow with you in the future so that you’re not changing software vendors or anything that would disrupt your growth and success.
